Family STEM Nights
We have two family STEM nights; one in the fall and one in the spring. Families are welcome to participate in a variety STEM activities or challenges that range from Sphero robot mini-golf course to an augmented reality Ozmo Kit challenge to making slime to exploring real insects and other critters like feeding crayfish and even AVHS's Iron Maidens Robotics Team offers a fun Sphero Ollie robot racing challenge.
Each winter, Cedar Park families are welcome to do a take home design challenge to try out at our Family Engineering Night at one of 10 engineering challenge stations that range from building a mini-bridge, to parachutes to catapults to real-time topography with our AR-Sandbox to building a house to a robotic challenge hosted our AVHS's Iron Maidens Robotics Team.
